Dr. Katie Canar, D.C. Gonstead Chiropractor

Born and raised in Galesville, WI, Dr. Katie’s love for chiropractic began in childhoodwatching her dad recover from a cervical disc herniation and knowing, even then, that this was her calling. She graduated summa cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2015, has since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education through the Gonstead Methodology Institute, and is Webster Certified to provide safe, gentle prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. Outside the office, she serves as President of the Blue Angels Gymnastics Club Board, volunteers as a weekly coach, and is mom to Rylee, Bowen, and Kade who you’ll likely spot running through the office sooner or later.

Maddy Melby, Lead Laser Technician

Maddy is the heart of our laser therapy program at Leading Edge, working hands-on with patients using the Aspen Laser to help them heal, recover, and get back to doing what they love. She guides every session with education, encouragement, and genuine care watching patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and feel hopeful again is what drives her every day. A Holmen local who grew up doing gymnastics and actually trained under Dr. Katie all four years of high school, Maddy also supports the front desk and makes sure every patient feels welcomed from the moment they walk through the door.

Brooke Riddle, Office Manager & Insurance Specialist

Brooke has been part of this practice since 2010 and, after earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2016, brought that clinical foundation into her role as Office Manager and Insurance Specialist at Leading Edge Chiropractic. Whether a patient is navigating a complicated insurance question or walking through the door for the first time, Brooke is the kind of person who makes the process feel less overwhelming. Born and raised in Trempealeau, she lives there with her husband Andrew, their dogs Tank and Stella, cat Goose, and the cherished memory of her son Owen. If she offers you something from her garden, just know you’re leaving with more peppers and tomatoes than you came for.

Stephanie Gilliland, Patient Care Coordinator

Stephanie’s role is all about making sure every patient feels guided, supported, and confident in their care from day one – helping them explore services, understand their options, and build a plan that genuinely fits their goals. She believes the body is designed to heal itself when given the right tools, and she’s passionate about being the steady, familiar face that helps people find what they’ve been missing. When she’s not at the front desk – or reorganizing something that was already organized – she’s fully immersed in family life as a rodeo wife, wrestling mom, gymnastics cheerleader, and self-proclaimed keeper of the candy industry.

Angie Simonson, Laser Technician & Wellness Coach

Angie is a natural educator at heart – living that out as a laser technician, second-grade teacher, and mental wellness coach all at once. She brings infectious enthusiasm for holistic health into every conversation, is currently pursuing dual certifications in Hormone Health and Gut Health, and is always ready to share what she’s learned – whether it’s a new supplement, a podcast, or a recipe she found on Pinterest at 10pm. She and her husband Jeff navigated years of infertility together, a journey that gave her a deep empathy for others walking through seasons that don’t go as planned. Today she fills her life with gratitude journaling, Rotary volunteering, tropical winter getaways, and daily walks kept honest by their fur baby, Mocha.
